'WINE FLUE', a play directed by Amitava Dutta and written by Udaynil Bhattacharya is a story about success of Zarda Plus (brand of alcoholic drink), towards socializing alcohol. Samriddha Choudhury, employs an infamous private detective agency, wants to extend their business in distilleries. He launches a brand of alcoholic drink –Zarda Plus. His wine smells like zarda, to avoid any social repercussion. Samriddha, with his secretary Ditipriya, invites the famous politician Kishalay in the inauguration of the brand. Kishalay is provided with an escort service. Finally a symbiosis is processed among the businessman, the intellectual and the politician to popularize the brand. The whole city is now addicted with alcoholism. Even the children are not safe from this habit. In this situation Sukshma and Sutanu, the Holmes and Watson of private detective agency of Samriddha Choudhury, and Mala-their landlady decide to stand against this conspiracy. The play will be Premiered on September 19, 2015 Tapan Theatre, 6:30 p.m.
