Happy Birthday: Shreela Ghosh

Shreela Ghosh, born on 25 September 1962 in Assam, a former dancer, actress, reporter and theatre personality’.
She worked extensively in theatre, which included work with leading organisations such as Max Stafford-Clark’s Joint Stock Theatre Company where she was also working as Marketing and Publicity Officer. Shreela began her working life as a performer in theatre and on TV. During the 1980s Shreela worked at the ‘Royal Court Theatre’ in London and appeared in acclaimed dramas like ‘The Jewel in The Crown’ (Granada TV). Shreela Ghosh worked as Director (ARTS MANAGER) at ‘PIONEER THEATRES LIMITED’ and as Director at ‘DV8 PHYSICAL THEATRE’. She is publicly known for her cast as ‘Naima Jeffery’ in 1985, one of the original characters in BBC's soap opera, ‘EastEnders’.
